NN, INC. NAMES JAMES ANDERSON GROUP VICE PRESIDENT
Johnson City, Tenn, November 19, 2007– NN, Inc. (Nasdaq: NNBR) today announced the appointment of James Anderson, 43 to the position of Group Vice President of the Precision Metals, Plastic and Rubber Segments.
Roderick R. Baty Chief Executive Officer, commented, “In his new role, James will be responsible for overseeing the Precision Metals Segment which includes our newly acquired Whirlaway operation as well as the operations of Industrial Molding and Delta Rubber which is comprised of our Plastics and Rubber Segment.”
Prior to joining NN, James gained 16 years of general management and leadership experience with the United States Army, Dana Corporation, and Accuma Corporation. While serving in the U.S. Army he achieved the rank of Captain. At Dana Corporation and Accuma Corporation, he held positions of increasing responsibility including Manufacturing Manager, Plant Manager and General Manager. Mr. Anderson holds a B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington.
Mr. Baty concluded, “Since joining NN in January 2005, James has provided excellent leadership in driving significant improvements as General Manager of our Industrial Molding operation and later as Group Vice President of the Plastics and Rubber Segment. His experience and leadership implementing Level 3 initiatives will be particularly valuable to the growth and profitability improvement of our new precision metals segment.”
NN, Inc. manufactures and supplies high precision bearing components consisting of balls, rollers, seals, and retainers for leading bearing manufacturers on a global basis. In addition, the company manufactures a variety of other plastic components. NN, Inc. had sales of US $330 million in 2006.
